Strength:

Light weight, excellent ride, beautiful finish and workmanship.

Weakness:

FLEXIBLE

Very light and very comfortable ride. My only complaint is that the frame is quite flexible. Granted, it is a 61cm and large frames are inherently less stiff, but the flex still seems excessive. My old steel Marin Treviso is significantly stiffer laterally. I'm 175 lbs. so I don't think I'm "overweight" for the bike (it's rated to 210 lbs). I like the Dual's light weight and the ride so much that I think I'll keep riding it for a while before making a final conclusion. Got a deal on the frameset because it was a factory "blem" (paint chip in the right dropout) but the finish is otherwise flawless. One of the best finished bikes I've ever seen.

Strength:

The best workmanship I have seen in an aluminum frame. The welds are filed and sanded so well it is impossible to say where one tube starts and the other begins. Perfect road manners, a solid feel, real tradition...not a New World "Me Too"...did I mention unbelievable workmanship...

Weakness:

Ugo could provide another intermediate size between the 50 and 52 (Sloping), as the top and head tubes grow quite substantially between these two sizes.

A very good frame, much better than a C40, Prince, or (I hate to say it,) a King, or UD ... quite frankly about anything else I have ridden. Excellent torsional stiffness, with just the right amount of vertical compliance to yield excellent road feel. This opinion is for the Dual sloping model. I have not yet ridden a 'standard' geometry Dual.

Weight, Stiffness, Comfort, Build Quality, Paint job is first class. Looks that will make any bike lover take notice.

Weakness:

None yet

Light, stiff, comfortable and beautiful - what else could you ask for? Coming from a Ti bike (Merlin Extralight), I was concerned that the De Rosa would be a rough ride - not at all the case. This is also the best looking bike I've seen. The welds are invisible, and the carbon rear looks awesome. The compact geometry works very well for me - the fit is perfect. I really can't find anything particular fault - it's a pretty fantastic machine. This is also my first Campy equipped bike - I'm a new convert. It looks amazing and works very well.

Strength:

Very stiff, comfortable, very light (without fork a little over 920 grams), beautiful color, art like finish, good connections between scandium and carbon, over-sized tubing. Accelerates very fast, keeps the line, climbs very easily (stays right under you on steep grades), comfortable on long rides

Weakness:

Itali

This frame is a dream. It is comfortable, light, responsive, very stiff and just gorgeous. I rode it in criteriums for 30 minute sprints around corners and in a 12 hour ride over 5 mountain passes in the alps. It climbs like a dream. The force is transformed to the road directly do to it's over-sized tubing. The carbon rear makes it a little heavier than the Merak but the comfort is noticeably exceptional. Many details are just "perfect". There is a removable read derailleur attachment in case you snap it of, there is a special clamp that is not going to damage your carbon seat post, the shifting adjusters on the down-tube are very accessible and rough so you can turn them with sweaty hands, the frame ships with special break caliper bolts to get a tight mount on the carbon,... Every detail of this bike is not just good but plain beautiful.
