DeMarchi Contour Racing 3L Jacket Jackets/Vests

Keeping your torso warm is imperative if you aim to log serious miles in the winter. The reason is entirely physiological. If your core gets too cold (along with your head we might add) your body constricts capillaries, leading to cold hands and feet -- happy digits are connected to a warm body. The key to the effectiveness of the De Marchi Contour Racing 3L Jacket is its windproof material. It uses De Marchi's three layer Thermashield fabric. It's a laminated combination of a stretchy outer mesh, a water-resistant, windproof, breathable membrane in the middle, and a waffled hydrophobic microfiber lining. The result is luxurious warmth even in biting winter weather. The windproof front panels give you all the protection you'll need. This is complemented by ThermoRoubaix HT panels in the back and underneath the arms. The brushed inside finish is super soft, and its permeable nature lets out excess body heat as you ride. The individual fibers are hollow. This is what gives ThermoRoubaix HT its cozy warmth without being heavy or bulky. Since De Marchi calls this a racing jacket, it wouldn?t be complete without three pockets on the back for your essentials. However, they do also include a fourth, zippered pocket to stash important items like keys, cards, and cash. As with all of their Contour apparel items, De Marchi gives this a form following cut. It will bend naturally with your arms and torso as you reach for the drops to explore your mid-winter flexibility. It has a full length zipper with a draft shield built in behind it. This ensures that you won't get a chill through the zipper, and it makes one-handed adjustment easy and snag-free. There's a zipper dock at the top to ensure you won't get pinched, and when you're charging into a block headwind, the 5cm collar is tall enough to seal out the chill. The De Marchi Contour Racing 3L Jacket comes in Black and Red and is available in five sizes from Small to XX-Large. There are reflective elements on the back pocket zipper and at the outside pocket seams.
