Beautiful design, quality construction, spare laces, replaceable walking pads, very light, not obvious as a cycling shoe

exact or even slightly small for size, not weatherproof in any way

I bought the black/grey (just as pictured) from Competitive Cyclist in size 45. These shoes are beautifully constructed and look fantastic, like a real pair of shoes. This is important for those like me who use these shoes as much or more for commuting than just riding. These shoes are also very walkable, so no duck walking or sliding on cleats. This is a touring shoe so it uses the SPD (two bolt) cleat system, and are slightly recessed under 'walking pads'. The walking pads are replaceable, held on with a couple of hex bolts. The shoes came with an extra set of laces in off white/grey, just in case you want a contrast. You might have trouble clipping in with certain pedals if the clamp hardware is unusually deep, but I had no problem with my Wellgo W-41's or Shimano A-530's. These shoes sizing seems to be right on or slightly small for the size, but the synthetic materials will stretch, or you might want to buy a half size larger. The sides of the shoe have tiny, tiny perforations which allow your feet to breath, but will also allow in water, so not the best for use in rain or mud unless you don't mind wet feet. The soles are very stiff (carbon or fiberglass) but very light so your legs won't be tired from dragging your feet around.

This is an outstanding shoe, that is perfect for touring and commuting. These will allow you to walk comfortably, and look like normal footwear. I bought mine for less than $100 on sale and as time passes, I'm sure the price will drop even more.
