this is my first bike shoe as I am just getting into cycling. I have to say however, that these are FANTASTIC! Every other shoe I tried on just didn't feel right. As soon as I slipped into these things I knew they were right for me. So far I have put on 100 miles on these shoes and NOT ONCE have I ever noticed them or had any hot spots.
