Strength:

Durability...this stuff will last for a long time. Has a great feel...a little tacky, not too thick with just the right amount of cusion. I find it a little thinner than Cinelli Cork tape. I have small hands and this is perfect.

Weakness:

Can be tuff to find.

Purchased Deda tape after reading reviews on RBR,com. I have used it now for over 2 years and it is the best tape I have come across. Perfect blend of thinkness, feel and cusion. I also like the color options and look of this tape. It's much more durable than cork. I've pulled this tape off and re-applied 3-4 times with the same tape with no issues. Can be pulled real tight without ripping and has a great tacky feel for excellent grip...even when wet.

See above. How much can you say about tape?

Weakness:

None.

Looks good, feels good, good in the rain. This is the best feeling tape I have ever used, period. Not sticky, not to cushy, you get a good feel for the bar yet it absorbs road vibration well. I recommend it highly.

Cleaner look than cork tape on modern bikes... carbon frame = no cork?

Weakness:

Less grippy than cork tape. Too expensive at the LBS. Tape should be $8 max, so I go online.

Eh. I think this is Cinelli without the cork. Same density, just no cork bits and correspondingly less natural & grippy feeling.

Strength:

durable nice to work with looks great leaves less adhesive residue than other brands i've tried.

Weakness:

can be hard to find in stock.

i'm quite picky about how the handlebars feel under hand, as well as what kind of grip is offered by a tape. i have a hard time deciding between this brand and salsa as to which is my favorite. goes on smooth, no pits or think edges, yet the finely tapered edges do not roll like cinelli. great stuff.

Strength:

Comfort and choice of colors

Weakness:

Color fades in the sun.

The tape is easy to wrap and easy to remove. The grip is comfortable and wears well. No complaints with the durability or feel. If there is one problem, is that the color fades in the sun.

Strength:

Very nice padding/feel

Weakness:

A bit of a pain to wrap (double sided tape), edges roll up a bit...

I don't like this as much as the Profile tape. It goes on well, is fairly strong to pull tight (exercise caution), very nicely padded, but uses the double sided tape to stick it to the bars. It also seems to roll up at the edges just a bit.

Strength:

Double sided tape on back. Logo imprint offers extra grip. Thinner than cork, offering better feel of bars.

Weakness:

None

Put is on a year ago when I built up a new bike. It has shown no signs of wear at all. The double sided tape on the back made it easier to put on and has kept it tight. Pulled it real tight during wrapping and it didn't break. Has held to 5k miles and plenty of rain rides.

Strength:

Easily re-wrapped, good color selection, fairly stretchy, not too expensive.

Weakness:

The adhesive on the back is really a pain. It comes off on the bar (making a mess), and needs to be pulled off if you want to re-wrap neatly. Doesn't seem to affect the useability of the tape either way.

The deda tape is really good, nice-feeling tape. It is easy to wrap, stays flat, and works fairly well when damp. Lots of colors, and it is fairly inexpensive
