Strength:

Solid construction, all carbon shaft, infinite angle adjustment, good looks

Weakness:

None

I bought the Alpha-Q ProLite seatpost to replace the one-bolt design that came with my Cannodale CAAD9. This is a two-bold design, which allows infinite angle adjustment -- perfect for my Selle SMP Evolution saddle, which needs to be at just the right angle. The front bolt has a thumb screw for easy adjustment. You set the angle with that and then clamp down the back screw. The shaft and head are monocoque carbon, and only the clamping hardware is aluminum. This makes it lighter than most. It has a nice semi-aerodynamic shape near the head with a 15 mm setback, which gives it a sharp look. The all-carbon shaft may give it more dampening, but in all honesty it's hard to tell a real difference. Nonetheless, a very nice seatpost.

Strength:

COMFORT COMFORT COMFORT...and weight I guess, I am not a gram counter.

Weakness:

None!
Again don't know what I payed for them.

Unable to evaluate the cost, it came included in a kit discounted price from Lynskey. Love the large top bar, greater area for the palms of your hands to decrease fatigue and increase comfort with being able to change positions. It is also nice that the cables are hidden. Smooth ride compared to the old Alum. bars/bike I used to ride.
