    Strength:

    Very comfortable (for me)
    Cheap (approx GBP 20)
    Durable

    Weakness:

Might not fit all shapes (but then what saddle does?)

This saddle came with my bike. Reading other reviews, perhaps it just happens to suit my shape, but I've found it phenomenally comfortable.

It's a hard saddle, but then it's supposed to be. I've ridden several centuries on mine with absolutely no chaffing or discomfort and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

    Strength:

    Good looks, Firm.

    Weakness:

Tad heavy compared to todays ultra lights, but then it won't crack the rails either.

Not a soft saddle. It is not supposed to be. The gel is there as little bit of softness under the middle. As a former racer I like a good firm saddle this is just that. You have to take the time to set the angle of the saddle to match you butt. I would only suggest it to anyone with a true 2 bolt post that allows for very fine adjustments. After taking the time to set mine correctly it has proven to be a very good saddle. The nose is firm to say the least so don't plan on being able to ride the tour slid forward on this saddle. Put your butt were it is designed to be and It works Great.

    Strength:

    It's got strong construction

    Weakness:

Not really suitable as a road saddle should just about cover weaknesses.

This saddle was a waste of money for me. There never seemed to be any sweet spot to place your backside on. 3+ hours was quite literally a pain in the ass. The genuine gel inserts were non compliant, and I suspect it wouldn't take long for them to starting bunching up. Use this saddle at your own risk.

    Weakness:

3+ hours will be tough on your arse so i switched to the trans am for some relief on the century rides. if that''''s not an issue, but it.

very durable to crashing. stiff yet with some complaince over rough roads, better than flite. solid construction. selle italia makes the highest quality saddles imo.

I'm 5'9" 140lb, and this saddle (came with the bike) suits me well. The longest ride I've taken on it is about 2.5 hours, and I have a suspicion that it might be uncomfortable for really long rides (centuries), but I haven't yet gotten there. So far, after a few days of getting used to the narrower width (I'm used to wider ATB saddles) I've been happy with it ever since. No discomfort or numbness. What can you say about a saddle... it either works for you, or it doesn't. This one works fine for me. Nothing spectacular, nothing lousy. Middle-of-the-road.

    Strength:

    light, sturdy.

    Weakness:

OUCH!!!!! This seat is for birth control purpose!!!

Narrow and painful. I will sit on a bed of nails before I ride this for a century. I have no idea what this item cost (came w/bike) but if your body type is like mine (5'10" - 195lbs) use that money for another saddle....unless children are not in your future. OUCH!
