just seems to be a good crankset, the one on now is 10 sp compatible although I have a 9 sd(2X9)

none so far after roughly 1800 miles between the 2 bikes :)

this is my second bike with the Truvativ Touro double crankset, I havent had my new bike long, a Scott Speedster S30 only about a month bought new on ebay. my other bike was a motobecane cyclocross bike, I had for 4 months and put roughly 1600 road miles on it with no complaints. I had actually bought a Specialized Allez with a triple and only kept it about 2 weeks before realizing I liked the compact double.

Solid, fairly stiff, wears well

Heavy (900g+ for triple not inc BB), could be smoother

Crankset (triple with square taper BB) came stock on my Cannondale. Have over 3k mi on it & it has performed OK. Like most Shimano triples, the shift from middle down to granny ring is rough. I'll likely move to a double when I replace this.
