Macalu Professional Road Frames

DESCRIPTION

The Macalu Professional uses titanium because it is one of the best materials available in the world today for ultra high-performance bicycle frames. The Macalu delivers a ride with the liveliness of high quality steel tubes, the shock absorbency of good carbon fiber, and the stiffness of aluminum. Or what's commonly known as titanium's "magical ride" quality. The elegant shape, precise welds, and the dropouts on the Macalu are perfect examples of the meticulous attention to detail this American built frameset has.

Strength:

Comfort. Durability. Quality (whaddaya expect - it's a Litespeed!).

Weakness:

None really. But if you race, you'll want a frameset that is stiffer 'cause there is a fair amount of BB flex when you stomp on it.

After my carbon bike's BB shell became unglued, it was time to get another bike. I wanted something that rode well (comfortable on > 100k rides) and would hold up over time. Titanium was clearly the answer. I've put in many miles on this bike over the last couple of years. For the type of riding I do (fast recreational), it's just about the perfect bike. This bike is a rebadged Litespeed Arenberg, FWIW.
