Strength:

Honesty and insight.

Weakness:

none.

This is the pull-no-punches story of Lance, from his childhood in Plano, TX to his first TDF victory. It is inspirational, brutally honest, and a good look inside what makes the greatest TDF rider of all time tick. (Eddy is still the greatest all-around cyclist).

Strength:

Honesty, tell-it-like-it-is reading

I was not that much of an Armstrong fan before reading this book. However, this book gives a lot of insight into Lance, the man, and I found it to be difficult to put the book down at times. The book also gives the reader an appreciation of what professional racing is all about. I learned a lot. The book also challenges you to re-evaluate yourself, and what''s important in life.
