The plus for the Thickslick is you don't need to stress over getting flats, as I've picked glass out of the front tyre and the extra thick rubber which is why I buy these tyres (Thickslick Comp) and I run them on a Trek FX 7.2 full Custom built with Deore XT running gear, 23c's up front and 25c's on the rear, as I can only fit 23c tyres through the carbon forks and FSA SLK caliper brakes, but they fit with room, the 25c tyres just fit but only with a few mm clearance. To sum it up, Thickslick tyres are the go to tyres for every day riding basically no flat tyres ever, even glass mostly isn't a problem, Love these tyres for their TUF compound.
Straight up the Thickslick Comp are almost puncture proof on roads that have potholes a plenty but you can still get flats just not like a normal tyre BUT this is because of the extra thick rubber which means extra weight and basically double the weight so this is the only downside for being a bombproof tyre, and I mean running Thickslick tyres on the front and rear you can notice the extra weight, well I can anyway

Where do you think I can buy this WTB THICKSLICK TIRES - CLINCHER? This was being discuss on a group that I am in, they said it is worth buying if you are into biking. I hope that there will be shop near my area that have this tire. Check the plants vs zombies website and the latest update about this amazing zombie game that everybody loves. Then go to battle cats website if you want an action game with cute cats!

Stellar grip even in wet conditions. Buttery smooth feel after they are broken in. Skids are also like butter. I use the Comp and the Race in 23 and 25. Even outlasted the Gator Skin Hardshells for me. Where the really expensive Hardshells had cuts after only 1 ride and never lasted longer than 2 weeks without cuts all the way down to the core I only had one Thickslick have a cut after hitting a sharp rock at high speeds by accident. They are my go to tire for everything from training, racing and even commutes during the "not winter"-seasons. For a light tire go Thickslick Race (still double-rubber thickness) and for maximum protection take the Thickslick Flat-Guard
