Fast. This thing rides like a big, fat, floaty road tire yet has remarkable traction within its intended range. I use it on my commuter in a 42/kevlar (36.5mm actual width) and it's fantastic on paved, hardpack dirt, gravel roads, side slopes, wet roads and snow. Unlike many tires in this size which are mostly touring tires, it's light, supple and provides a very comfortable ride. Unlike all the other file tread cyclocross tires which have a diamond shaped tread in the center section, this has 1.7mm raised squares which provide a zillion little edges for traction which as it wears still maintains those edges. Once the points wear off other tires, and wear they quickly do, they begin to lose traction.

Pretty cheap. It's a high quality tire and you can find the Kevlars for $30 online.

Mud, do not expect it to be anything other than a packed up, fat, slippery slick.

I think it'd be better with U or L shaped side lugs, but Conti likes it's triangles....

Not really a weakness but, it's light and supple = not overbuilt, don't expect to shred rock gardens on it or I'd expect you'd shred the sidewalls too. I've had zero problems with mine on the appropriate surfaces.

Fast, comfortable and still good traction at half the cost of other high end Cyclocross or Gravel tires. What's not to love?
