Strength:

Roll well, stays true, tough.

Weakness:

Not the lightest wheel, lateral stiffness could be better

I have had these wheels for 4 years and 15K on them. they are still round and true. I need to replace the bearings now but these wheels are simply great. I'm not big (5'8"- 150) and I'm not typically hard on my stuff but they far exceeded my expectations. I wish they still made them.

Strength:

Fast, light, stable.

Weakness:

A bit fragile.

Great wheels but have needed some TLC over the years. The rear hub seized on me after only 2500 miles. This was repaired for free by Cane Creek even though the wheel was out of warranty. Have twice broken spokes and coulc not source the correct Sapem bladed spokes so ended up with the round variety. Dont get me wrong, I love these wheels, I have just found them a bit fragile.

Strength:

Value for the weight and aero attributes, look nice in sterling.

Weakness:

?

Purchased the Velos Sterling wheelset to replace an old Mavic open CD wheelset. Wow, what a difference! Every pedal stroke feels stronger - they are lighter and more aero. These wheels are faster up & down hills and on the flats. Very smooth ride, and reasonably priced wheelset. Bike steering responds with less effort. I hear Cane Creek wheels are reliable over many years and hope to have the same experience.
